What to Expect

  • In the first session we’ll talk about what’s brought you to therapy, any symptoms or difficulties you’re experiencing, your background and your goals for therapy. This allows me to gain an understanding of your situation and tailor a treatment plan with your input.

You can also ask me about the therapy process, my qualifications and training and any other questions you may have so you can decide whether my approach is the right fit for you.

  • For children and adolescents under 14 years old, I find it helpful to meet with the parents/guardians on their own for the first session. This provides an opportunity to thoroughly understand parental concerns and spend the second session focusing solely on your child.

  • Yes, I have a number of telehealth sessions available each week. When booking your appointment, please let us know that you would like a telehealth appointment.

  • Sometimes I’m unable to see new clients straight away. Wait times are always changing so please contact us to get the latest information.

  • I know that contacting a mental health professional takes courage. You can trust that we’ll respond to your inquiry with kindness and compassion. Go to contact us and book an appointment by phone or email.

You’ll be emailed some forms to complete prior to your first appointment. We’ll meet in person at your first session.

You can trust that my admin team will respond with kindness and care to your enquiry.

  • In the near future I'll be offering child diagnostic assessments for children 6 and above. If you'd like to be contacted once this service is available, please complete the form on the contact us page.
